What is Bagseed?
Bagseed refers to the seeds that are accidentally found in low-quality cannabis buds. They are formed when female cannabis plants get pollinated by male plants and produce seeds.
The genetics and characteristics of bag seed plants are unpredictable. The seeds may come from low-THC industrial hemp or high-potency strains.
Growers don’t intentionally create bagseeds, so their origins can be mysterious.
Many cannabis consumers consider bagseeds a nuisance when found in marijuana buds.
However, bagseeds can also be collected and grown intentionally to experiment with new strains.
Though the plant traits may be variable, based plants can sometimes turn out to be high-quality and productive.
