What is a Green Out?

A “green out” is when you use too much weed and have a really bad reaction. It happens because your body can’t handle that much THC.

Some effects of greening out are feeling dizzy, paranoid, nauseous, sweating, and anxious. Some people might even throw up or faint. It usually lasts 1-3 hours as your body processes the extra THC.

This can be scary, especially for new users. Going slowly and using more only if you feel OK is key to avoiding a greenout.

More experienced users were rarely green out. But cannabis is stronger nowadays, so it’s good to be careful for everyone, especially with edibles that take longer to feel effects. Resting and staying hydrated can help you get through it.
